Grill Mate makes the most difficult part of grilling out with friends and family easy.  When you're cooking several meals on the grill, the toughest part is trying to get multiple items done at the same time, because everyone wants their steak done differently.  Grill Mate takes out the guess work and lets you get back to socializing with your friends rather than slaving over the grill.

It's Simple

Just enter your items and they'll come up in a list.  Grill mate will calculate the USDA recommended cooking times for you to reach a given temperature.  When you're done with the input, just press start and throw your item on the grill.  Grill mate will tell you when its time to flip your items, and when its time to put new ones on so that they all finish at exactly the same time, cooked to perfection.

TOuch Interface

The iPhone and iPod Touch interface makes item entry simple.  You simple press the Add Item button and you are presented with a few choices that make adding an item simple.  The interface automatically switches from items that would be entered by thickness such as steaks and burgers to items that would be entered by weight, such as a chicken breast.  Cooking times are calculated using the basic laws of thermodynamics and the USDA's guide to cooking meats.  Keep in mind, that the maths involved can only assume an average density and composition of the meat, and the only way to tell if the meat it cooked right is to use a probe thermometer.
